I watched the very last North Star overnight train to Chicago pass this same location on 10/24/1981 at 2230. |

A shot looking east towards Chicago and lines north to Duluth/Superior and Ste. St. Marie , MI. The Soo Line was instaliling CTC from this point to the west, behind me, and the depot would be taken out of service shortly after this photo, and demolished about 4 or 5 years later. |
