Arriving in Rush City, MN, this Milwaukee Road train that had CN power was common in the early to mid-80s before the line shutdown as a through route in Sept 1986. Here the Rush City local awaits the trains passage, so they could go back to serving the large elevator in town. |

Southbound at Hinckley |

Unfortunately a few of my slides are showing some degrading with age, so the sky is a bit funky. This is a Milwaukee Road train heading south at Hinckley about to cross where tje NP line went, and where the track to the left goes into the yard. There were alot of different units running on this line between 81 and 85. |
