Who has the right-of-way?
This is a companion shot of one in my other album showing the CMNs crossing of two roads near downtown Madison, as we were heading southbound on our 40 mile trip back to Monroe, WI.

Andre Wehrle General I grew up in Madison (born 1986). We lived on the east side so we didn't come through here too much but I have vague memories of seeing the crossbucks at this intersection. The line here was put out of service for good in 1997, although it was already so overgrown that it looked abandoned. WSOR crews had to do their own brush cutting with a chainsaw on the rare occasions they brought a carload of lumber to the last customer just south of the Beltline those last few years. Tracks were removed in 1999. 12/16/2016 3:59:27 PM
